The Department of Commerce came into existence in the year 1966 when the B.Com.-Program of study was introduced in the college. The department is a post-graduate department with three full-time faculty members. Various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as per the university-prescribed syllabus, leading to B.Com and M.Com degrees are taught in the department. Besides usual degree Programs, add-on courses are also taught in the department.
