Add-on courses are short duration courses that are usually taught along with core curriculum degree programmes. They provide students with additional skills and knowledge that either complement their degree programme curriculum or provide additional knowledge and skills in the field of their interest. Some courses can help students develop important employability skills such as team-work, communication skills, problem-solving, decision-making etc.
These skills are highly valued by employers and students having these skills are more likely to be successful in their careers. Knowledge gained through these courses will add value to overall personality of the students and improve their chances of getting employment in areas of their interest.
Students enrolling for the course are required to attend course lectures for a minimum of 30 hours. At the end of the course an examination is conducted by the course coordinator. Students who pass this examination become eligible for certificates. Certificate of course-completion is given to the eligible students
