The Department of Physics came into existence in the year 1966 when the B.Sc.-Program of study was introduced in the college. The department has two full-time faculty members and a couple of laboratory attendants to look after the laboratory and departmental activities. Various undergraduate courses (Theory & Practical) in the subject of Physics, as per the university-prescribed syllabus, are taught in the department. Besides usual Undergraduate courses, add-on courses are also taught in the department.
